KIMCHI BRUSSELS AT CHUCK’S FISH
“No more feeding the dog brussels sprouts under the table. If he was around, he’d be hooked too. Chuck’s Fish for cocktails, appetizers and sushi gets you on the ‘good list’ if you’re in the doghouse. A standout on the menu is the kimchi brussels. These green jewels are flavor packed. Flash fried, with a little Korean kimchi flavor, chunks of bacon and drizzled with a creamy aioli, this generous portion is delicious. You’ll order two servings, guaranteed.” – Barry E. Porter, Writer and Consultant Director, Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic

BRUNCH AT KAZOOLA EATERY & ENTERTAINMENT
“‘Sunday brunch on steroids’ is the only way to describe brunch at Kazoola Eatery & Entertainment. Nothing quenches that Sunday hunger like an endless supply of hot, Southern fried chicken and fish that ranks among the best Downtown. It doesn’t stop there. The buffet occasionally features gumbo and oxtails as unexpected treats. You are certain to have a blast at one of the best Sunday brunches in downtown Mobile.” – Kimberly Pettway, Instructor of Social Work, University of South Alabama

SEARED TUNA AT TAMARA’S DOWNTOWN
“You just can’t go wrong at Tamara’s. I’ve been for happy hour, lunch, brunch and dinner. If I have to pick a favorite, I will say that the seared tuna dinner is amazing. Cooked to perfection and served with two sides (I chose fingerling potatoes and creamed spinach), then a choice of soup or salad. The menu is extensive and the portions are quite large. If you haven’t been yet, then you are missing out! This is a must in Fairhope.” – Jeanie Smith, Artist, Southern Intaglio Gallery

ALL-AMERICAN CHEESEBURGER AT BEN’S BAR-B-Q
“Growing up in Baldwin County, Ben’s Bar-B-Q in Fairhope was a staple. When it closed in 2018, I felt like a part of my childhood was gone forever. Luckily, Ben’s recently reopened and, while under new ownership, it still has the same reliable menu. My favorite thing there has always been the all-American cheeseburger. I like to add bacon, grilled onions and grilled jalapenos to mine. I promise you, you will not find a better cheeseburger anywhere.” – Max Dearing, Director of Engineering, SFR Development, 68 Ventures
